When You Register, We Guide You Through 5 Easy Steps
1. Naming your reasons for quitting
There are so many reasons to quit smoking: personal health, being a role model, saving money and more. Register for a Quit Plan and we will help you identify your reasons for quitting. You can update the list at any time. Refer to it to stay motivated!
2. Naming your smoking triggers
Knowing your triggers helps you stay in control and avoid tricky situations. A Quit Plan can help you manage triggers and develop effective coping strategies. If your triggers change over time, so can your list - keeping your plan adaptable.
4. Learning about quit methods and medications
When combined with counselling, quit aids such as prescription medications and nicotine replacement therapy have been proven to increase your chances of quitting. We will help explore your options and determine if you are eligible for free quitting aids through the BC Smoking Cessation Program.
